Ah, this newsletter gave me all the feels. I live in Astoria and can also count on hand the number of times I've gone into Manhattan. In the few times I've been there during this pandemic, it's been at once exciting, novel, and a shell of what it used to be. I too miss the wine bars and broadway shows, the restaurants, and the eclectic variety of life. Hell, I even miss the subway commutes and the quiet camaraderie we all shared by virtue of riding the subway together. One day it'll all come back, I hope.
